Anamaria Marinca is an Romanian actress. Her screen debut was with Sex Traffic, a Channel 4 movie for which she was awarded the British Academy Television Award as Best Actress. She can fluently speak French, German English, and Romanian. Her father is a theatre professor at one of Romania's top theater schools. She was awarded the Best Female Actor of the Year 2000 Award in the Young Actor Gala Mangalia. The award was given to her as the first European Shooting Star by the European Film Promotion Board in the year 2008. She was a teacher in the University of Fine Arts Music and Drama George Enescu, Iasi for 4 years. bAnamaria Marina is a Romanian actor who was born in Iasi Romania on 1 April 1978. Anamaria Marinca is a Romanian actress who made her first appearance on screen in Sex Traffic, a British-Canadian television film for which she was awarded the British Academy Television Award as the Best actress. Apart from her amazing performance in Sex Traffic, Anamaria Marinca is most famous for the role she played in Romanian filmmaker 4 months 3, Weeks 2, Days. This film won several awards, including being awarded the European Film Award Best Actress by The London Film Critics. She starred in Cristian Mugiu's Romanian film "4 3 weeks, 4 months and 2 days" (4 3 Weeks, 4 Months and Two Days) which won her the Palme d'Or award at Cannes Film Festival 2007. It also received two other awards, it was awarded the Cinema Prize of French National Education System (FIPRESCI Prize) as well as the Cinema Prize. Also, she was as a character in The Francis Ford Coppola film Youth Without Youth. She portrayed Yasim Awar in the BBC's 5 episode The Last Enemy miniseries. Marinca appeared in the Romanian drama Boogie and Oliver Hirschbiegel's well-known Five Minutes of Heaven. The actress later played a significant performance in the 2014 film Fury in which she played an German woman known as Irma the aunt of Emma.
